To promote slumping HD-DVD sales.

Too true. If they were showing a THD I think Humungus would insist that we "just walk away".

Road Warrior for me thanks. It should look awesome with all the bright daytime scenes. Have to get my fill of Warner titles before they starve me to death with THD crap-ola.

battle of the bulge is one of my oldy favorites, I really feel that blu-ray needs more of the classic westerns and war films, I think hd dvd has a few more than blu ray in those categories unfortunately

Agreed...really looking forward to Lawrence of Arabia and Maltese Falcon, too. I avoided collecting older movies on DVD because it was not that big an improvement over VHS. Bring on the BDs.

If they even come close to the transfer quality they got on "the searchers", BotB should be AWSOME!

Holy crap I just crapped my pants!!! The Road Warrior is one of my all time favorite movies. I hope it just isn't a tease, May 8th is not that far off.

Even though Mel's an ass, it's a kick ass movie!

OMG this is so funny, since it just happens that I'm in the process of watching Season 5 of South Park and one of the disc menus has the "just walk away" spoof playing as the background clip.
