I had elite this year and the worst thing about it was getting the new maps earlier but none of my friends had it so we could not play till they got them a month later if they bought them at all. Plus they then gave everyone free maps at times. I still do not like the fact that Xbox gets maps before PS3.
So even if they have it again, I will opt out. And if I get BO2, I may just by the game. There is nothing in the extras that excite me right now. Coins, toys and a book? I will pass.

There still hasn't been confirmation but MS exclusivity deal runs ot this year so we might get them at the same time now.

I don't think Xbox has the exclusive rights anymore, it ended with mw3 and I haven't heard anything about it being extended.

Yeah all that we know is that it ends in 2012. So we're not sure if that includes this game thats released in 2012 or not. I hope it's not.

I am not sure about that. Every commercial I have seen and with some of the demos they are using the Xbox, not the PS3. To me that seems to indicate Xbox has preference. Hopefully I am wrong.

I won't be getting the hardened edition either unless it comes with Elite (read: map packs).

I'll just get the plain old boring plastic case edition

I'm inclined...I want the Hardened Edition....which, after seeing the pics, is how it is.........down there!

I guess we will have to wait and see on pricing. I would not be surprised if that care package is $200. Hardened $129. And no sign of elite.

Should be interesting to see how bad they want our money.

Well i hope hardened comes with elite sub else I'm going regular. I got prestige once and the goggles were cool but they just sat collection dust so i sold them for a nice sum.

There's no doubt in my mind that Elite will be a separate purchase this time round (if you want it of course). It'll come with the maps too.

I bet if they sold Elite by itself (with no maps), more than 95% of the people who have it now, would not pay for it. Folks only got it for the maps.

I've logged into Elite maybe 10 times in total.

No mention of Elite subscription... they included it last time even though Clan Ops didn't start for months and Clan Challenges didn't start till last month and they call it a "beta"; that really grinds my gears. I will be lambasting them on twitter until we get some kind of answer.

Activision still has time to get it right....these versions we're already gonna pay for a pretty penny as it is...Elite should be a service that people pay for if they get the regular version...no need to nosebleed the rest of us who wants to pay for a little more for, what I thought, privileges!

Every game does that it's just not activision,ps3 support is always low naughty dog is the only real studio that supports it.

When PS did a huge push for Move, that's all you saw on SOCOM and Resistance 3 is from Sony....that was awesome BTW!

There should be a push for PS3 commercials with the likes of COD, and even Ghost Recon commercials were for PS3...
