Freddy's Nightmares was an awful show although I do have a like towards Photo Finish. This is the 2nd season Halloween episode where Freddy stalks a photographer around the Halloween season. It's my favorite episode. There might be a few other episodes I can tolerate. Most of the show is fodder.

The reason Freddy's Nightmares never made it here. They tried to release it overseas on DVD years ago and is sold horrenously. I mean awful. So, they never tried again. One might ask why they would try overseas before the USA for sales on Freddy's Nightmares? That's a secret ballot question and one I haven't seen the answer to.

That's really weird that Amazon has a listing. A 1 month lead time prior to a release that no other retailer seems to currently know about?

And, yeah, I wouldn't ever use Amazon's disc count as gospel for anything.

WBShop Uncut #5

I hope that the uncut version of The Dream Child is included in this set.

Does anybody know what version of Part 5 is in the UK or Mexican boxed sets?

Yeah, it's so right! Terrible show overall, but I got it on DVD-R (and I'll buy the real deal if it's ever release, because I'm a Freddy fan since the 1990's). I think my favorite episode is the Pilot "No More Mr. Nice Guy" followed by the Episode 2It's a sort of prequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street, and we see Fred Krueger in court before he dies and his first kills as a "dream killer".

I'm kinda agreeing with you. I'll wait until I see official spec's (and a list price), but I think this is the route I'm going to go too.

I think I might be one of the few who would actually like to see a release of Freddy's Dead with the 3D ending. Not quite sure how it would work, unless they just use the red and blue paper glasses...

This is absolutely hilarious if the four disc thing is true. People have been saying forever in the other thread that the rights to the content on the bonus disc may have been in question, which was always a suspicious reason for the set being delayed in the States. And people wanted to wait for a US release... they insisted on it. And now here we are, with a US set that drops the bonus disc. I didn't see that one coming!

Well, it being listed on WB Shop makes this release legit. So that's good to see.

I just wish they were continuing to release the Double Feature discs separately.

But if I can get the box set for a decent price, I'll just trade or sell off my other discs.

The WB Shop listing says it's in a 7-10 disc case. Maybe there will be a bonus disc.

I'm pretty sure there will be a bonus disc. Let's wait for the official announcement. I already own 1 and then 2/3...so I want the rest but only if it is a reasonable price. I hope they release them separate.

Amazon has a listing. Again they are reporting 4 discs.

List price according to them is $59.99

I would be shocked if there was no bonus disc.... not that I haven't been relatively shocked at everything else surrounding this US release so far.
