How is it ridiculous? Its just his nickname.. And im sure there still trying not to lose grasps of the world they use to know. Calling him that reminds them of a simpler time im sure.

Good point!

Unbelievable! FedEx sucks! They've had mine since Saturday, in my state and now just 5-10 minutes away. Yet I still don't have it! How is this even possible? Today shoulda been the last day, no excuse is good enough!

Default Amazon price & sales tax

Mine didn't ship until today, so I don't think I'd be able to convince them to give me the $5 refund (my order was placed on Aug. 27). What sucks even more is now Amazon is charging sales tax to Pennsylvania residents as of September 1. I know it's not their fault because the state legislature is forcing them to do it but they're going to lose a lot of business as a result of this, mine included.

Why? If you factor in gas and driving time, it's still likely cheaper than going to the local store (assuming you don't immediately pass a store).

Well that would be a YNNV situation. I suspect, in most cases, the price would probably be a push.
The benefit of Amazon, as you mentioned, would be ease/gas/time...of course getting it in-store means no chance of damaged product.

Bottom line, the sales tax is really going to eat into Amazon's sales unless they drop prices even further. Instead they are doing just the opposite, they are barely PMing, and I'm talking pennies here. So you couple that with now sales tax...yeah I know I'm dreading when/if it happens in my state.

Question quick question.......

What if I am not much of a fan of the horror genre in general, might I still enjoy The Walking Dead?

Thanks!

Let me ask you this. If you look at the Special Edition of Season 2, the head, and it freaks you out, then you wouldn't like it

If that kind of gross stuff doesn't freak you out, then you'd be alright watching this. Its a good drama too.

Yes. It's more drama than horror. I've really been scared, or anything like that, watching it. It's really about the characters and their relationships. And the way people change in times of crisis like their's.

Probably! if you like drama shows, with survival environment, you will love it!!

And, it's not "horror", it's more a thriller with lot of suspense. Zombies can be scary, but it's not the point here, it's more how a group of people can survice this apocalypse, and how they can live together. You'll care for the characters and you will don't want them to be biten by the Walkers.

I agree with everyone else in this thread. They really need to get rid of T-Dog. He barely has any lines and when he does he is annoying as hell.

They can't kill the token black. That would be too much of a horror cliche. (Yes, I'm aware of Michonne, but it's not the same.) Besides, I like his character. He's not annoying. He doesn't even have enough time to be annoying. Most people I've seen and read online say he needs more lines...not to be killed off.

That's what I've been wondering as well.

Though T-Dog, and Tyrese are none alike so far if you wanted to compare the show, and comics.

Well I am exactly 42 years and 2 days old but I don't feel too old and I was even lucky enough to get carded for buying booze on my birthday. So apparently I don't look like I am 42.

Anyhow, are there any Boardwalk Empire fans here? While I am pretty confident that both shows are good to great I can only get one of them now. So its Walking Dead Season 1 or Boardwalk Empire Season 1. Help me out here guys.
