Just wondering, why dont users on this forum use their real pictures as their avatars?

Would be nice to know who you are talking to.

Nah. Just kidding. Most of us aren't really as trusting to give the internet our picture. Either that or we're all just to lazy to take a good picture of ourselves.

I mean, if someone wanted to stalk me, its ok, I have solutions to problems like that

Its just isolating that we are all behind a screen. The internet is becoming a major part of our lives and we have to get used to the idea of socializing more online. Im not saying we should isolate ourselves from the real world, but its becoming a reality.

Some people that post here are insiders who need to protect their anonymity. Some of us want to keep our anonymity even if we are not insiders but for other career related reasons.

I doubt they want their identities to be known...myself included.
