Great Joe. You'll be back too having the same awesome collection as before your "market crash" in no time. Hehe.

Thanks Al. I already owned all of them before my financial crisis, but I'm glad to have them back.

Thanks David. I can't believe how cheap the prices have gotten at that place. They probably have several thousand BD's, and a lot of them are $3~$6! There were a lot more that I wanted, but I didn't have the money for all of them right now. I think I've just found my new hangout.

Thanks Tommy. I had almost 300 BD's before my "crash", so I still have a long way to go, but with prices like that, maybe it won't take too long. I'm up to 35 now!

It's not how big ones collection is.. It's how you use it.

That's just something that people with small collections say to make themselves feel better.

As much as you travel, you deserve it.

Thanks man. I think they just lowered their prices, because the cheap price sticker was over a much higher price sticker on most of them.

I just finished watching Temple of Doom and Last Crusade tonight after watching Raiders a couple of days ago. One thing I noticed was that the LFE on Raiders seemed to be a bit more exaggerated on gunshots and punches by comparison to Temple and Crusade, but Raiders also looked a little more film-like to me. The other two looked more clean, but not "DNR scrubbed" clean. Raiders just seemed to have more apparent film grain than the other two. I also noticed some aliasing(jaggies) in Crusade just on the opening credits lettering which seemed odd to me, as it's not like that on the other two.

Overall, all three look and sound absolutely phenomenal to me. They all turned out much better than I expected. In my opinion, they all three have near reference picture quality for catalog releases, and they all have very natural and clean dialog reproduction, surprisingly immersive surround ambience, and very appropriate and solid LFE, although like I said, Raiders is a bit more exaggerated on punches and gunshots, but it's actually kind of cool in a way.

I really couldn't be much happier with this set.

Now I just have Crystal Skull and about seven hours of special features to finish it off.

Hey Wabo.

That's a really big picture for such a little guy. Big Impin' I didn't know anything about that until just now. I looked it up on Wiki. It sucks that he didn't win this year, but at least he did last year.

Hi Russ.

Yes I am very happy with it. It really surpassed my expectations as far as the A/V quality.

It's the first thing I've bought in months, and I couldn't be happier, unless perhaps it had been cheaper.

Yes, I'm aware of that. Although I only speak english, I have always been fascinated with linguistics, hence my love of Tolkien. Frogmort is short for Frogmorton, a town in The Shire. I guess Frogmorton means "frog-death-town".

I would personally rank all of them:

Raiders: 10/10
Temple: 9/10
Crusade: 9/10
Skull: 7.5/10

Or thereabouts, depending on my mood.

Good evening, Frogger.

The lil' imp casts a big shadow. Glad he at least won an Emmy last year. He deserves it.

Say, I canceled all my premium movie channels. Will I still be able to watch GoT on HBO.com? Or do you need a subscription?
