Not in a hurry to get it on bd, but that's a pretty good price. I'll check reviews on it. I thought the best version so far was a Japanese import?

I recently unloaded allot of digital and dvd copies from my Blu-rays. I realized I've got all these empty slots and I'll probably start doing that with catalog releases that don't port over the special features. I was also thinking of starting to collect soundtracks and include them in the cases with their movies.

Unless you're buying crappy bootlegs for $5 a pop at horror conventions, all vendors have their DVDs and blu-rays jacked up in price.
Having recently attended a horror convention where Synapse had a table sit up, it should be noted that they are not overcharging for their titles. They are charging their full SRP, the same as their website. Since their titles are readily available for lower prices at various on-line stores, it's not as though people are being forced to pay a premium.

I did buy from their table last year, but only for two titles that weren't going to be released for several weeks, so it was worth the extra $5 bucks to me for each film.

I think four days for Christine is generous. It wouldn't surprise me if it sold out the same day. The only reason I didn't order right as pre-orders went up for NotLD was because I was at work, and didn't get home until a few hours later. By then, they had already sold a third of the run.

Fright Night brought Twilight Time plenty of attention from both Blu-Ray/film collectors and cult horror fans, and Night Of The Living Dead has shown that those fans will act quickly when a limited quantity is introduced. Add Stephen King fans and John Carpenter fans into the mix, along with the knowledge we have now that it's coming, and I'm sure that once the pre-orders start, it'll potentially be chaos...

This title is already going for $130 on eBay. Fright Night is going as high as $175 or higher. 10-15 titles might be a more reasonable offer considering the demand for this movie.

but is it actually selling at that price right now?... I could ask for a million dollars for my preorder copy but that doesn't mean someone will pay it

Time will tell. Who knows?

That pre-order was put up today before it even sold out. I think we'll probably find out once the reviews come up and Johnny-come-latelies start searching for it.

Mid-February or so. I follow TT on Facebook just to stay up to date. I'm a little anxious about that day. Christine fans and horror collectors are already in force all of over Twlight Time's Facebook page. I think SAE might crash whatever day gets the official pre-order date. I can see that title salling out in 24 hours.

Also, you have an amazing collection. I'm sorry you missed out on this title.

It's possible, I was just considering the time of year it will be released, when lots of people stop paying attention to home video releases. The King and Carpenter obsessives will definitely go all in for Christine, I suspect there will be less speculators for that pre-order and more true fans.

If I was Twilight Time, I would put the 2 per order limit from the beginning on Christine. You don't want people associating your brand with frustration at missing out on a key release. Hot releases are going to start needing these limits or people are going to view the system as unfair. If people want to order 15 copies of Swamp Water at once, go right ahead.

There's about 2000 copies left. That one is going to be in stock for a few months.

Bingo.

I bought my daughter a t-shirt at a KISS concert a couple years back...it was $45 freakin' dollars. I passed on one for myself.

I was glad I did....Wal-Mart had the exact same shirts for sale for $5 each about 2 weeks later, even in my big-ass size. I still have mine.
