Near Dark ported over all of the DVD extras, it just had a terrible transfer.

The UK version I thought looked good but people said it was heavily filtered.

well they need to do it right then. I still have that cool DVD collectors edition.
There are a few blu rays I passed on for bad transfers or less extras than the Blu Rays ..I knew Escape from NY and Near Dark were on that list. Echo Bridge's Halloween H20 I passed on but got the Alliance one. The Scorpion King is another one

-Updates with the "They Live" special features:

They won't include the cast reunion due to clearance issues, but all of the other previously announced special features will be included.

"Unfortunately, we lost the opportunity to include the previously announced 2012 Cast Reunion w/ Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster presented by Ain’t It Cool News and Texas Frightmare Weekend due to clearance issues."

It's not barebones. We just had to remove one thing. It's still a packed disc.

Never said it was barebones, they just removed the cast reunion due to clearance issues. Here's the list of special features:
