Howdy Wabo.

Unfortunately you have to have HBO in order to watch it on HBO.com.

HHD?Is that an annual happening at your place Joe?Hope it's more often

Just got the indy boxset. Not even gonna try watch all that extra (not really into that stuff anyway),but will watch the first and third this week Is it me,or are there strange anomalies in certain small scenes at start in the picture? Some small scenes lookks like its a pixelmash almost.Happy with PQ&AQ except for those small inperfections.Just checked out the first,so may be a source problem there.

Have you gotten through all the movies+extras yet?

Now,please continue your HHD

Edit:Just googled hump day,and it's not what I guessed

Well, I won't be able to have too much fun again for a while because of lack of fundage. Had to catch some more bills up this week. It really sucks getting behind on bills. Plus I just had to get The Avengers!

As far as I know, it's only on HBO and HBO.com and that's it, and you have to have HBO in order to watch it on HBO.com.

Probably won't be able to drink much at all over the next couple of weeks, and that's going to be rough.

Hump day is just Wednesday, because it's the middle or "hump" of the work week.

There are a few fleeting scenes in Raiders that are a bit wierd, but from everything I've read, they were all source problems inherent in the original negative. The first few minutes are a little contrasty, and the scene with the tarantulas is a bit strange, but apparently it's always been that way.

I've only watched the first three films so far, but I'm very happy with them.

That's pretty cool. Too bad it's $265.

What are you up to tonight Tommy? I just picked up The Avengers on the way home from work. I'll be watching it in a little while.

Well that's lame. Don't know if I can wait until the blu's come out. I may have to have a buddy DVR them and watch 'em at his place.

[Show spoiler]There are ways, which can't be discussed on here.

Don't tease me like that. I just have a lot of bills that have to be paid if I want to keep living indoors, and mathematically, I'll be doing good if I can buy food and gas for the next couple of weeks.

Good evening Harold.

I just finished watching it, and I honestly think that it was just about the most enjoyment I've ever gotten out of my HT room. I saw it at the theater and really enjoyed it, but this time around it was even better, and I picked up on a few little things I didn't notice at the theater. It just has so many things going for it. It has great action, lots of laugh out loud humor, a great cast, and insane special effects. I'm sure it won't win the best picture Oscar, but I found it to be incredibly entertaining.

In my opinion, the picture quality is absolutely flawless. There was just so much detail and depth to the image, and it was very natural and colorful for the most part, but there was just a hint of that teal look that almost all movies seem to have these days, but not to an obnoxious level at all. I did notice that the very beginning of the movie was a little darker, as pointed out in the review on here, but it seemed to me that it was deliberate and appropriate for the scenes.

As far as the audio, dialog was always crystal clear, it had a very full and balanced front soundstage, and it had some very nice ambient and discrete surround sound effects, and I actually turned my subs down a couple of notches, which I never do. I know some people have said that it doesn't have much ULF information, but it has loads of sound in the low end of the audible frequency range. If I had any complaint at all, I think the surround speakers could've been mixed just a tiny bit hotter for my tastes, but what was there sounded just perfect, if just a little subdued.

Overall I really couldn't be happier with this BD, and for now, it's my new favorite go to disc for A/V quality and just a really fun entertaining movie.

Good evening, Frogger.

How does one discuss what must not be discussed?

Well, if it's any consolation, I'll have a few adult beverages for you this weekend.
