I'm in Chicago and got mine on Friday. I watched both Draculas and to me the Spanish version is no where near as good as the English one. The acting in the Spanish one was a turn off. Dracula reminds me of some guy hired to play the character for a kids party. He smiles too much, isn't menacing at all and his (and the other actors) reaction shots come off as pretty amature. Who cares how the camera moves if the acting is stiff. I can't see watching that one again any time soon. Despite what some reviews say, CFTBL (3D) looks great and better than I thought it would (relieved).

Regarding sequels for these films, which ones are the best of the Universal Monster franchise?.

Bride of Frankenstein of course, followed by Son of Frankenstein. It is not considered to be a classic, but it's a cut above all the other sequels in my opinion. The film introduces Bela Lugosi as Ygor and Karloff puts on the Monster make-up for the last time. Basil Rathbone rounds out the cast as the Son of Frankenstein and Lionel Atwill very memorable as Inspector Krogh. I enjoy some of the others, like The Invisible Man Returns with Vincent Price and Revenge of the Creature, but Son of Frankenstein remains my personal fav of the sequels, excluding Bride.
