uhhhhhhh...

Ok Ill have a sprite then....?

give me the one closest to coke jackass!!!!
I worked for Burgerking for 4 years during and after highschool.
I never said that: "we don't have pepsim is coke ok?", you just got coke if you asked for a pepsi. And nobody ever complained.

what I never understood though is how someone would ask for rootbeer (we didn't carry it) and you would say, "sorry we don't have that" and they would ALWAYS choose Dr. Pepper. To me, Dr. Pepper tastes nothing like Rootbeer to me. I guess they just wanted "other than cola" flavor.

Ever had this classic.....

You type a word into search box, it doesnt find what you are after but instead suggests a word that is close to what you entered.

For example, lets say you are searching for:

Peenuts (you spell it wrong like I have)

and it says "Sorry no results found. Did you mean Peanuts?"

and you click yes....

"Sorry no results found for Peanuts".

I hate that.

I worked in a bar and we sold an off brand because it was cheaper, and when a customer asked for Jack and Coke, we legally had to tell them that it wasn't coke and ask if it was okay. I know it was something to do with it containing liquor and you had to explicitly make sure they understood what they were getting, it might be the same way with other industries as well so there's no form of false advertising.

Interesting. I was a bartender for three years in college our vendor was Pepsi. I never told anyone though... However, it was college students and I don't think they cared their rum and coke was Mr. Boston's and Pepsi.

See, you didn't live in a Pepsi or Coke town.

Here, we have a Coke plant.

You get a pepsi when you ask for a coke, you're likly to get chewed out.

today...

one of my bosses is paranoid about computers not being right. he's constantly asking us if we checked the numbers or what not. well anyway, we are sending out some k-1 statements to investors that our accountant just handed back to us. i'm like, "yeah." he responds with, "well did you check?"

i'm like WTF! our accountant just gave 'em back, the numbers are all computed and generated by the system, etc etc. how can they be wrong?

Our first dog was not like this as a puppy... Lack of sleep is starting to make me sick and effect my work...

Oh, and I am reminded of another WTF moment I get almost daily.

Why do people say " A.M. in the morning"? Is there a 6 A.M. in the evening?

Redundant and annoying.
