You can still view the movie with the correct color, by DVD, Amazon download or VUDU.

They are not taking any more names on the wait list. And most of those will probably not get filled.

They actually posted this on there facebook site

We will not be adding any more customers to the waiting list, but those already on it will be notified.

SAE is getting back nowhere near the amount of returns they thought they would be getting. In fact, they were overwhelmed with requests to purchase the returned copies to the point they had to ask people to stop requesting because they were no longer accepting requests due to already having more requests than copies being returned. They also achieved the 2,000 likes milestone on Facebook.

Indeed. They may start selling out more titles just from their Facebook fans alone. It's a shame they can only do 3,000 units.

Ok just got my 2 copies of night of the living dead blu rays!! Im in ontario, canada and after all the complaints i was worried it was going to be really dark and blue. After watching the intro, Barbara just got to the farm house. I just want to say with at least my copy it is in no way as dark as the screenshots make it seem, i dont if any of the screens have been edited or not, yes its a bit darker but i think it looks gorgeous and i can say for my copy itself i see no blue tint at all. Over all im very happy with the blu ray, yes its a bit darker but i think its blown waaaay out of preportion on this board. I have the dvd, vhs and now the blu ray and im happy with all my copies and. Have loved and watched this movie tons and tons of time, so dont pull the "your not a real fan of the movie if you like the blu ray" with me.

Edit:its now into the night and the movie still looks gorgeous.

Do you think Blu-ray.com's screencaps are off too?

On my calibrated Panasonic plasma, it doesn't look nearly as dark or blue as those screenshots. It still doesn't look "right" though to anyone who has ever seen the film before.

It is what it is and the screencaps are accurate. We can always tinker with the settings, but yeah...its blue and dark.

There's nothing to really fight about. It's clear that the film is altered. I was specifically replying to manta53's claim that people may be editing the pictures on here to make them look darker. I think it's easier to claim a user of doing such behavior than an official Blu-ray.com reviewer, so I'm merely asking whether his picture is the same as what Blu-ray.com's review is showing.

I know. I've been on your side -- trying to educate people who keep claiming screenshots "must have been altered" or "aren't truly representative". But their vast numbers wore me down. But I'm glad to see you are still carrying the torch.

Thanks for your input! I'm not sure why people keep insisting on showing you screenshots when you've already stated you own the DVD and VHS. Either way, thanks again!
