CMT's "Nashville" (Season 5)

Watched the pilot today, thought it was good. Connie and Hayden are really good in they're roles, you can feel the tension between them.

I also liked the girl and the boy who sang that song at the end, it was good.

Not a fan of country music but liked the songs, hope it gets good ratings.

I met Hayden Panetierre when I was an extra for the film, "Tiger Cruise" (Disney channel film). Sweet girl who definately grew up to be one good looking woman!

Caught the first half of the show last night before I went to bed. Not my cup of tea but the wife seemed to be into it.

I watched it last night, I thought it was interesting enough, I'll keep watching. But I do admit I mainly watched it for Hayden.

Ratings weren't as amazing as expected, but they were decent. I'm going to wait a couple more weeks to see how the show is doing before I start watching.

I only watched the first half before I turned it off. It's not a bad show, I just don't like country music so I can't get into it. The cast is still good otherwise.

I watched it. I'm a big Hayden Panettiere fan and I am a fan of country music. This show definately has potential. I'll continue to watch it to see how it goes.

Don't get too attached, the show has horrible ratings in the key demos. I doubt it gets a full season order.

Hayden looks like she has dropped a little weight for the role. The music is not bad, though I think there is too much of it on the show. The duets are really veering into neo folk territory like the Civil Wars, instead of country music.

Nashville was picked up for a full season. Anyone still watching?

It's a really slow burn show with a lot of storylines that have yet to intersect. The only thing all four storylines have in common so far is Deacon and so far they've barely touched on his relationship with his niece or the other mayoral candidate.

Eventually I expect the young musicians' storyline to merge with both Rayna's and Juliette's storylines. Rayna and Juliette both looking new material and, if neither works with Deacon, they'll need a new guitar player. So I expect the blonde and her music to head one direction and her boyfriend's guitar to head in the other direction.

Maybe restart the conversation to get people interested in talking about it, rather than just bumping the thread.

This show feels like it's about something and nothing at the same time with the way they deal (or not deal) with things.

I'll bring up a topic of conversation -- the sober companion turned business manager, is his 180 degree turn from compassionate human being into a power hungry douche a product of bad writing... or something completely planned as him being a predator who targeted Juliette from the start and will rip her off.

It was likely the writers wanting to switch things up from their initial plan, midstream.

Wednesdays Ratings were like 1.4 for probably one of the better episodes of the season coming off some very strong episodes the past few weeks. Sadly theres a good chance this is getting axed which will sadden me as the show is pretty good.
