Just picked up a Pioneer Elite VSX-53 two days ago as an open box item from Best Buy (It was too good of a deal to pass up). Worked great with my TV, but through my Epson 5010 Projector for some reason every 11 minutes and 36 seconds (yes, I timed it). The HDMI output would cut out for about 12 seconds and then come back on. I just did a factory reset, turned off Video Upscaling, anything I thought could be the reason for it, and nothing. I called Pioneer and it will be taken in to get fixed under warranty at least. Just sucks that there is any kind of issue like this at all considering, that it normally costs as much as it does. Anyone else have any issues like this? It sounded awesome, crisp, clean, and it kills me now that it will be getting fixed, I just hope it comes back working like a champ, and hopefully I don't need to be worried about it crapping out on me again for a long time. Or should I just return it to Best Buy for a refund and move on?
