Anybody ever heard of Discount Comic Book Service? They've got the best price on the 1/4 scale Bats, but I'm not at all familiar with them.

I have a coworker who raves about them for comics although I have never tried them myself personally.

They're only charging 7 bucks shipping for this thing, whereas every place else it's at least 30. From the few things I could find about them they seem legit. I'm always skeptical of smaller online operations.

When Jeff Gordon retires in a few years, these cars are only going to climb in value. My boy is going to inherit some pretty cool toys: 300+ diecasts, 60-70 Statues, maybe 1000 BDs. Plus all my comics/spots cards!
I need to start collecting dollar bills! It would be a helluva lot cheaper!!

Edit: I like those Detolf cases! The are much narrower and don't have as big a footprint, and look like they would work well in corners! Thanks for that link!

U hope they go up I to had a huge NASCAR collection got rid of most of it got into the sideshow figs seemed a better investment and fun to collect cool to see a fellow collector though I just got the dark knight rises elite

Yeah, obviously I hope ALL my collectibles go up in value, but I know that won't be the case. I'm talking 20 years from now, long after he is retired. Oh I'm sure the collection will be quite valuable. At least diecasts are easier to store than statues!

Very nice! Is that from the new Injustice: Gods Among US video game collector's set? I think it's only 13" tall, I wonder if there will be a larger scale issued?

They both do look good! I guess I like the first one because it's got elements of Superman(his ship, fortress of solitude ruins). I might have to start buying PS3 games if they are coming packaged with these cool statues!

Yeah, I only just saw that one today. Initially I thought I liked it better also but I've since decided I like how dynamic the NA statue is. I don't have much interest in owning the game but I am heavily considering it just for the statue. It wouldn't be the first time I made such a purchase...

I hope the US version is the same. I have been getting the collectors editions here and there for this reason.
