Bringing up what they were before and how they came to be is kinda pointless in a debate on who will come out on top as they are now.
With what you said about Cap, we can say the same about a lot of these guys, Stark being just a rich guy, Bruce Wayne also being just a rich kid without proper training, Banner is just a scientist without gamma, Hal being just a normal guy without the ring. Anyway, I'm done with this debate. lol I rather not see any of these folks fight, they're all heroes. If anything they should team up and stop the real baddies out there. ![]() Last edited by Blu-Generation; 10-26-2012 at 08:55 AM. |

To be honest, I think the fight could go either way, it all depends on the equation. For one thing, it depends on who we put up against who and what strategy both team uses. They all have their strength and weakness. Technically it's anything goes.

Because Cap is that weak compared to Thor or Hulk remember he is a little above a normal human and Thor and the Hulk are far above that . Lets face it lifting 1000 lbs is not all that impressive next to a guy that can lift 1000 tons .

The only real change from any other Mortal Kombat game was toning down the gore to a T rating instead of the traditional M. |

Spiderman's not in the Avengers even if Marvel just added him in there recently.
Superman would beat Hulk. Wonder Woman would beat Thor. Captain America would beat Batman. Green Lantern would beat Iron Man. Hawkeye and Green Arrow would tie. They even have equally hot girlfriends (Black Canary and Black Widow). Loki would beat Joker. Thanos and Darkside would tie. |

* sigh * .. ah, the age old dumbest possible thread to find on a forum.
Well, might as well partake in the fun I guess. First postulate: The heroes all know about each other, because otherwise, Batman is going to get smashed in the ground in the first second of fighting. Second postulate: Kryptonite is available (because it seemingly has been avail to every single opponent of Superman, including Batman, since his creation) Third postulate: Superman is not "infinitely" strong, fast or invulnerable. He just is at a demigod level (which is plenty). Fourth postulate: Spiderman is not part of the classic avengers, even if he almost was at one point in time. The actual line up of the Avengers vs JLA should be as follow. (Heck, even Hulk was not part of the classic team, but as he definitely was part of the team in the comic -and- the movie I will keep him). Captain America vs Batman: Captain America wins (actual superhuman strength and reflexes, and warned about Batman's dirty tricks as per postulate #1) Hawkeye vs Green Arrow: Tie (equally competent and without any "superhuman" advantages) Ant Man vs Flash: Ant Man wins (size does matter in the end) Wasp vs Wonder Woman: Tie - Wasp's small size prevents WW from using all of her abilities, but Wasp lacks the firepower to take her down for good Iron Man vs Martian ManHunter: Iron Man wins (almost lost due to MM able to be immaterial, but using MM's fire weakness and Stark's smarts just edged him) Hulk vs Green Lantern: Tie (neither can win without killing the other outright - one might surmise that after a -very- dragged out fight, Hulk being more and more pissed off continually, eventually GL will tire and lose concentration) Thor vs Superman: Tie (same as above - But God help Superman if Thor embedded a bit of Kryptonite in Mjolnir) Last edited by Elandyll; 10-26-2012 at 04:18 PM. |

Problem is, wether we are talking about enhanced Widow or human Widow (Black Widow was retconed as having received a Russian version of the Super Soldier serum, pushing her beyond human limits, and also some cybernetic improvements). The enhanced version would probably mop the floor with Selina, but talking strictly classic Widow vs classic Catwoman, I would think the result would be a tie. Depending on the environment, imo, Widow would have a better chance at long range, Catwoman probably dominating at medium range (whip) while they would probably be about on par with melee. |
