Someone else on the forum mentioned it a while ago. Good catch. Did anyone see that quick shot of the Sony 300 in the bar scene on 3:10 to Yuma? It goes by pretty quick so get the pause button ready.

I actually noticed that one in one of the storyboards that were made way even before they started shooting the movie, but nice try. Keep 'em coming, I love a challenge.

There is also a Sony 300 in the Ten Commandments. Reference the tent scene where Moshibelle is being stand-offish with Moses as her younger sisters are dancing for him to snare a husband. You can see it next to the caraffe of sheep dropping wine for about 2 seconds.

the original intent of blu-ray was to be a recordable format (it still is), but due to the format war, Blu-ray companies dropped the recording aspect to lower prices.

I noticed it right away as well, on my first viewing in theaters. If you ask me, it was kind of hard to miss.

ya I noticed the blu-ray player in CR the first time and I pointed it out to everyone that was with me in the theater, they weren't as thrilled as I was haha. But wait I'm confused here haha. what do you mean theres a sony 300 in the bar scene in 3:10 to yuma?

I would've but this forum didn't even exist yet when I saw it on the teaser trailer from before they even started any major post production work.

It's making me wonder if all these movies poping up with the Sony 300 in them weren't entirely made around a BD player just sitting around in the background somewhere.

Remember on the BBC production of Walking with Dinosaurs? The T-Rex almost stepped on a Sony 300. Could have drastically altered the outcome of the winning format.
