Success? No, the films themselves were what generated the success, it had ZERO to do with 3D. Please. There isnt anyhthing to get over. Any new Star Wars films will sell way more copies of the 2D versions. Just like the 2D version of every film ever released in 3D will. Its not even close. As I said, its a micro-niche fad for people who think something flying at the screen is still "way" cool.

Titanium 3D glasses.

I just wanted to finally checkout 3D.

So after watching my very first two 3D movies, Avengers and Avatar, I'am now hooked on 3D!
The incredible immersiveness of 3D draws you into the movie, in a way that 2D just can't.
Turns out that 3D is not a gimmick at all.
I find that it adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of movies.

In fact, watching 2D movies now seems so uninvolving.
Thats great - enjoy it. At least you arent disillusioned into thinking its mainstream or the "norm" though. Also, keep in mind that a fairly large percentage of viewers get sick and cant even try watching it.

Either way, cool deal for you.
