I would've but this forum didn't even exist yet when I saw it on the teaser trailer from before they even started any major post production work.

It's making me wonder if all these movies poping up with the Sony 300 in them weren't entirely made around a BD player just sitting around in the background somewhere.

Remember on the BBC production of Walking with Dinosaurs? The T-Rex almost stepped on a Sony 300. Could have drastically altered the outcome of the winning format.

I think the T-Rex knew what he was doing and just stepped that close for dramatic effect. It sure worked though, I was worried untill I watched the making of and saw that it was all just part of the show.

Did you notice in "The Quick and the Dead" that Ellen's father(Gary Sinise)was standing on a Sony 300 when she tried to shoot through the rope of the noose to free him?

That was a 300? Could have sworn it was a Panny BD30. I'll check again.

You're close. It was the BD30 in the similar scene in the bar where Cort had a noose around his neck.

ya I noticed the blu-ray player in CR the first time and I pointed it out to everyone that was with me in the theater, they weren't as thrilled as I was haha. But wait I'm confused here haha. what do you mean theres a sony 300 in the bar scene in 3:10 to yuma?

I noticed all the Sony stuff too when I watched Casino Royale. Was the first thing out of my mouth "Geez. Sony had a ton of their stuff in their. Product Placement!" At least it was done slyly. Otherwise they probably wouldn't have gotten away with it as well.

I saw it in a psychic vision when I was still a fetus. I also know when Transformers is coming to Blu-ray, but I don't want to spoil it for you guys.

A whole lot of sarcasm in this thread.

I noticed the Blu-ray player in Casino Royale when I first saw it on dvd, but wasn't sure if it was one or not until after I got the Blu-ray Disc just yesterday and saw it again. I never saw the movie in theaters.
