Yeah, but that also means the cross-dressing, Wile E. Coyote Batman ending is going to be in HD. I was digging Mulan, right up until they wimped out and went for the comic ending.

Yeah, I admit that while the comedy in Mulan is actually pretty funny, it doesn't mesh well with the drama. Seeing as I prefer the dramatic aspects of the film (everything from "Reflection" to "Mulan's Decision" is absolutely perfect), that keeps it from being one of my favorites. I still really enjoy it and look forward to owning it, especially after just winning The Art of Mulan limited edition book off eBay last week. Chances are Mulan's supplements will be relegated to the dreaded Virtual Vault due to the sequel being included, so I'll have to toss out the included DVDs and stick my 2-disc set of the original film in there like I did with Pocahontas. This probably doesn't bode well for Hunchback's missing LD supplements, either.

I hear you, and concur. Like Pocahontas, I walked out of the theater feeling frustrated.

Haven't seen this since I was a little kid.
Shame that it's being bundled with Mulan II. I don't know, it just seems sort of disrespectful to bundle films with their DTV sequels.

I disagree. I think it's fine. However, I probably wouldnt feature it on the cover like they did with Pocahontas, though. The DTV sequels should be considered just extra features.

plus, really, Mulan II was a decent flick!

I love it when Disney bundles movies. It saves me money. Wish they would have done it with the ling king. I still don't have them on blu but I would have if the sequels would have been bundled together .

My thoughts exactly!! I am still a little bitter that they didn't bundle the 2 squeals together, but I did eventually buy them both but it was so much extra money that didn't need to be spend.. So yea, I am in the minority that like when the sequels get bundled with their original movies or with another sequel..

Yes, we know. You've told us a thousand times. Let us just celebrate the impending release of Mulan for now before we get to critically analyse what went wrong with Disney and how stupid of them it was and etc. etc. etc.

Let people enjoy a movie
