Windows media downloadable? - Blu-ray Forum

I want to try to make my ps3 my personal computer. Can windows(microsoft word, ect.) be downloaded to my 60Gb ps3, or do I have to buy an external hardrive(can it even be downloaded to this?)? Thanks for your help!

no. but if thats the thing you're looking for..install linux on there and it should meet all your needs

I would like to install linux but I hate headaches. I use the KISS method. Is this difficult to upkeep?

Not a hope in hell. BTW, rather than wasting several hundred $$$ on M$'s office suite, check out OpenOffice. Multi-platform, better than M$ Office, and free (as in $0). Legitimately: no need to pirate software.

Um yes installing linux would allow you to use your ps3 as a personal computer, there is a version of yellow dog made for the ps3, um let me see if I can find a link for ya.
