Bic f-12 - Blu-ray Forum

I just sold my Dayton 120 which I was never happy with. It never produced what I would call tight bass. In all honesty, it was what I would call flatulent. Anyhow, I've sold it and I want to get something that's more accurate with some tighter bass. And better quality as well.

I was looking at the BIC F-12 and it's just under $200 which is pretty much where my budget is. Anyone have any insight on BIC in general or this model of sub? Also, feel free to make any other suggestions for something in that price range.

I have dual BIC America F12's, paired with dual SVS PB12-NSD subwoofers in my HT setup.

Nothing beats a quad subwoofer setup.

The combination is great after running the full Audyssey 8 position MultEQ XT32 with Sub EQ HT calibration.

The F12's are very good budget subwoofers.

Yeah, quad subs would be pretty cool. The room my theater in would no way need, or accommodate that though. Thanks to the link that Silo5 posted I ended up buying a VK-12. It was less than $100 more on Amazon and even though I wasn't looking to spend more than $200 I feel I'll be getting a lot more for my money with the VK.

Should be here on Saturday. Can't wait to get in installed.

Regardless of the size and shape of your room, every HT should have a minimum of at least two subwoofers.

Hey guys I'm new to this forum I have a bic f12 that rattles, I'm sure I blew the woofer, I was just wondering if their is any where I can get a replacement woofer to fit the f12s cabinet? Thanks

I would throw a infinity 1260w in it andcall it a day. I am very impressed with the value of this driver for $55. Way better than what came in your sub.

I have the PB12-NSD's up front and the F12's in the rear of my HT.

Audyssey did a superb job in seamlessly blending together all four subs.
