Thanks Wabo. That's pretty much what I'm thinking. It's not about the $10.85, it's about the lack of respect and understanding of my side of this poorly handled situation. I've been having to deal with this for about six weeks now, when all I did was order a blu-ray.

Exactly the principal out ways the price. I'll tell you a quick short story A few years ago I ordered some GIK panels for my room and changed my mind and switched from bass traps to some Elite panels framed in wood . So I called back within a hour to change the order and he said no problem and he would personally change my order and assured me he would take care of it . Well they ended up sending me the wrong panels so I called him back and played phone tag and emails for a day or so . Basically he said send them back and they would pay for return shipping and then be would send me the correct panels . I procceded to tell him how busy my schedule was and how inconvenient it was going to be . He responded back with keep the panels free of charge and sent me the correct panels I can't remember but it was around 200 plus dollars for the panels . That's some excellent CS and if I ever get any more room Treatments it will be from GIK .Anyway ya man I'm beat had another 101/2 hour day. Think I'm going to turn in soon, had a good day but I'm beat .

I would not have contacted them. No good deed goes unpunished. They should have responded with sorry the length of time was an inconvenience to you, please enjoy your BD, and we look forward to hearing from you again.

The cost of sending it back would be too much. Cannot believe they even suggested that. When I've had issues, amazon sends a replacement and tells me to donate, or trash the problem disc.

I had a nightmare with DeepDiscount that tools months of back no forth just to get what was owed. Will never buy from them again. Amazon has good policies, 3rd party sellers not always.

Looking back now, I really wish I wouldn't have even told them that I received it, since they had already refunded the money to my card, but I naively thought they would handle it properly, and it seemed like the right thing to do. Hopefully since I thoroughly explained the situation, they'll do just that, but who knows.

My main concern at this point is that I don't become black-listed on Amazon because of a problem with one of the sellers on their site. If worse comes to worse, I'll just fill them in on all of the details of my situation, and they'll probably handle it correctly. Anytime I've had a problem with Amazon directly, they have always quickly made things right.

I used to have a couple of buddies that were Zappa heads. I had to listen to that crap all day long. His goofy xylophone swooshes and whoop! Whiz! Bangs! drove me batty. The torture never stopped... literally.

You won't have a problem on/with Amazon. I'd def call or email, or do a quick LIVE CHAT with them & explain what happened. That way they'll have a record of the problem & will prob also contact the 3rd party in question.
