I was in the low 3,000's when I left, I'm sure not playing for a few months sent me way down. I'm pretty sure I was a 1 Lt for my rank just a week before I shipped out.

Just wondering. When I started out, I did too. But, as I got more experience, I grew to love games that just weren't as cluttered.

Now, about 50% of my games are 8-player and the other 50% 24-player. I did jump on a 32-player game for about 1 hour the other day. Unless it's OD maps, 32 players is a bit much.

Maybe I'll play some 32-player games tonight.

Ive been playing dog fights the past few days, one of the main reasons i wanted this game was so i could become a great pilot and rule the skies. A dream that one day no matter what game i played in people will know and fear the name VEKTAR in air that is. It never happened oh well.

i like the excitement being bombarded by tons of ppl and crap blowing up all around me. it also makes it less painful when there are better player on. if its 4x4 and one of them is a total kick ass maverick type dood, its gonna blow. in a 16x16, its not so bad. i like the big epic battle type stuff. theres also more places to hide on when u have access to the entire map.

Yeah, it's definitely fun when you're a good player. Although, get 2-4 guys on the other team that are communicating and good and it's show over.

I like it, because it's more of a challenge in some ways.

But, a couple of the maps are pretty crappy and nothing more than a spawn, shoot, die, respawn fest. I'd love to see full maps opened up with an extended timer. I love the airiness of it all.

When I had a stint of sniper-itis, I played 32-player maps. You're right. You could find a good spot and rattle off a lot of kills.

What the heck is global accuracy? Most people seem to have a pretty low percent.

It's funny to see me CTF points against my other points for DM and TDM and Zones, for that matter.

I am just a CTF addict. Got to have a goal. Zones is the only other thing I play.

@ Copy, same thing here - started out on big boards, but went to smaller. Sure, sometimes you're on the elite team and kicking @ss and taking names, but I don't mind being on a poor team - they might win, but their going to see the name "CYMBOL" showing up on the screen many times before it's over. at least, that was something I could claim before I left.

If only time would slow during those moments. My wife would leave and it would seem like she got back in a heart beat. And, as you all know - there is never a good time to set the controller down for a few moments in Warhawk.

How do you aim quickly and accurately with the sniper gun? I find it very difficult to aim right. If the player is not smack in the middle of the cross-hairs, it is often a miss. Yet, the controller seems to be somewhat sensitive, making it take a couple of seconds to get a good aim. I tried adjusting the aim speed % in the controller setup, but it doesn't seem to do much.

Practice. Really, that's it.

I find that when I don't use the sniper for a bit, I can't hit that well unless the target is sitting down eating a packed lunch.

However, when I use it somewhat often, I can snipe people as they run, as I run, etc.

If there is a "trick," I sure as hell don't know it.

Nothing is more fun than when you and another sniper see each other and get into a running and aiming battle.
