Ikr! I thought when they said they would be starting new announcements in the "NEW YEAR", they literally meant it. And the new year announcement would be "New Year's Evil". But I don't suppose they'll actually be doing it on "NEW YEAR'S", so I just hope they get it from Mgm eventually. After all, they did get "The Incredible Melting Man" and that was m.o.d. too.

Actually, Redrunner97 was correct. "Return to Sleepaway Camp" was sub-liscensed by Anchor Bay, from Magnolia. He obviously was stating that.
Maybe just the good one's then... ![]() And SleepawayCampFilms has announced that something involving at least one of the SEQUELS being released will be in 2013. They haven't said by whom, and MGM has been working with you guys and this could be a good sign. Or Synapse, because they announced having secured a couple big titles. I certainly hope one of Synapse's big mystery title(s) isn't one of the Sleepaway Camp sequels. That is, if Synapse does, in fact, actually have anything planned - they haven't said anything in over a month. Could be they're on Christmas break but I don't feel good about the silence.

I don't want to hijack the Shout thread with stuff about Synapse but if they've got Dawn of the Dead that would be awesome. I know they'll do a great job with it. Plus I'm anxious to replace the Anchor Bay set, as great as it was for it's day, with a nice new Blu-ray set.
Anyway, 2013 is just hours away in our neck of the woods. It will be the year of Shout Factory. Cheers to Shout Factory and here's to a great year with them. Let's get the MGM ball rolling, shall we? Last edited by Cinema84; 12-31-2012 at 10:38 PM. |

Warner did pick up a lot of HBO's catlogue, so they may have it but I've been hearing buzz of either Olive or Twilight Time doing a blu-ray of it. The sequel, "Hitcher II: I've been waiting..." (2002), is with Universal. Its not the time-frame of cinema (I.e. 80's, 70's- some 60's, some 90's) that they are looking for titles in, but Universal has a record of working with Shout. |

They've publicly spoke about doing 1-offs of each film, or possibly doing a complete set simillar to the Elm Street Collection. |

If they do a Friday set it will most certainly be 1-X, possibly even 1-F13 09 if they see fit to include Freddy vs. Jason and Friday the 13th (2009), though I see that as a long shot since the Elm Street Collection left out FvsJ and ANOES (2010)
