This thread title is misleading. Public law firms don't "investigate"--that's a very official word typically reserved for law enforcement and government. Law firms "inquire", which is pretty much all they CAN do.
But don't mistake this as being a bunch of sour grapes HD DVD owners trying to make a buck. As others have pointed out, this is a law firm trying to rile up the public in hopes of cashing in on Toshiba's dead format. It likely won't go anywhere, since Class Action's have to be approved the courts, and Toshiba will no doubt nip this in the bud before it goes pending. |
