Thumbs up 4! new Pioneer BD Players this year!

German Area-DVD.de:

Quote:

Translated with babelfish:
That sounds great. The greater quantity of BD players introduced in the market, the greater the competition. The result will be higher quality products and lower prices for the consumers.

Yeah right. They have consistently produced fantastic equipment for both video and audio.

Pioneer didn't mention prices and I cant believe that all 4 upcoming Players are around $2000.

I'm sure they will have models for each price class.

Since they are doing the Sony as well (Sony Bluray player are made by Pioneer almost entirely). I'am pretty sure they'll be a S350 and S550 version but in pioneer Elite (better PSU, Better Drive.. etc)

I thought it was only the BDP-S1 that was a Pioneer made unit.

How about backing up your claim rather than giving generalizations for the whole company in 1 line?

A Pioneer insider at AVS mentioned that the new Elite BD players will be priced less than the current 95FD.

This is good news. After we start getting a selection of 2.0 players I'll really be looking for a standalone. Great to see some of the higher end companies are going full bore.
