Guess we'll see if Rob Ryan can finally be on a team with a winning record, since he never has.

That would be a GREAT move by both the Dolphins and Jennings, who had his best years under Philbin...

Harvin appears on his way out of Minny

Quote:

Mike Max of CBS Minnesota reports that the Vikings will indeed attempt to trade Percy Harvin this offseason.

Citing "sources," Max reports that Harvin unleashed an "embarrassing" tirade on coach Leslie Frazier during the season, and the episode not only alienated coaches but Harvin's teammates, as well. The sides now appear headed for divorce, even if the Vikings deny it vehemently so as to avoid losing trade leverage. Harvin had a similar incident with ex-Vikings coach Brad Childress. Although acquiring a first-rounder for Harvin may prove too difficult, Minnesota figures to ask for at least a second-rounder and some change.

Yeah, there's been little doubt that Harvin was done in Minny since he was put on IR with an injury he potentially could have come back from and then him rehabbing away from the team. I've heard people say the Patriots could be a potentially landing spot for Harvin and there could be some validity. Belichick loves Florida players and a lot of people believed the Patriots would have taken Harvin if he had fallen to them in 2009 (he was taken 1 pick before New England's pick). The problem is New England only has a first, second, third, and two seventh round picks so it'd be tough for them to trade for Harvin, plus they don't have much cap space to give him a new contract.

They aren't going to let Welker go just to sign Harvin. Welker is Bradys go to guy, im sure Brady has some say as to what receivers he wants.

Biggest off-season QB domino already has fallen: Eagles have re-signed Michael Vick to a one-year deal for 2013 season.

Per PFT, there are teams willing to pay the franchise tag price -- two first-round picks and a monster contract -- in order to acquire the 28-year-old franchise quarterback. It's further confirmation that the Ravens ought to be kicking themselves for letting Flacco play out his entire contract year. To retain Flacco comfortably, they'll have to affix him with the $20-plus million "exclusive rights" tag, which will cost them both other players and negotiating leverage with Flacco. If the Ravens only assign Flacco the regular franchise tag -- worth under $15 million -- teams like Arizona and Cleveland will surely try to sign him away.

I don't think it's anywhere near a sure thing that Welker returns. If he gets a big offer elsewhere then New England would at least consider letting him leave. He's taken a lot of hits over his career and will be 32 at the start of next season and New England is not going to break the bank for him when he likely only has at best a couple good seasons left. They certainly want him to return but if he gets too expensive they may look at cheaper or younger options like Harvin, Danny Amendola, and Brian Hartline.
