Seriously is anyone actually pissed about that joke? You knew whoever was hosting was gonna make that Lincoln joked. It was almost basically expected.

if people are making 9/11 jokes now a little after 10 years, I think someone can make a joke about something that happen a 150 years ago. or are people only allowed to stand around like statues and not make jokes or laugh about anything.

What a dull year again, I was expecting some surprises and the only one I got was the Academy creaming itself over a lackluster Pixar film and a tie (seriously, how did they come up with THAT?!?)

Nobody is excited or angry or pissed about that silly Abe Lincoln joke. Well, Mostly nobody it appears...

I mean, you said it - it happened 150 YEARS AGO!! As Seth would say, "what, too soon?"

Who cares really. Seth was pretty damn good and funny as the host (everyone at the party I was at laughed all night during his bits/one-liners). I can see them asking him back whenever he might be able to free up enough time (he said getting ready for this was a pretty full & strenuous schedule over the last 4-5 months), & he Does have a few jobs going on that take up quite a bit of his time, so...
