The artwork is ok...I do prefer the DVD artwork though...not that there is anything bad with the Blu Ray art, but just my own personal taste

Nice art. I thought the trees in the background were skyscrapers at first. This'll look great on one of my black cases.

Don't worry you can flip it over to this probably. Granted it'll be the non color version...but you know something it better then nothing.

It's Lifeforce-like, in that they're not as pop-kitschily in your face, but rather standing back and epically posing.
But Lifeforce could only benefit from having a more plot-related poster, while Howling...oh, sure, we know it's about werewolves, but this seems like it's giving every single surprise image away. There was a reason the old theatrical posters had to be plot-ambiguous and keep all these things to the imagination.

(And again, I can only shudder to think how they would've handled Howling II, unlike the MGM DVD cover, that basically cloned the original "rip" poster.)

Thumbs up

Ninja III: The Domination will be getting a release from Shout! Factory sometime in June this year according to their Facebook -

Quote:
NINJA III: THE DOMINATION - the long-lost classic Cannon exploitation flick from 1984 - is coming to Shout Factory this June for the first time on DVD & Blu-ray! More details will be announced in the next month including where to order.

The question for you: Do you consider this a "Scream Factory" title? Meaning, we know its not a horror film BUT it is about an aerobics instructor who gets supernaturally possessed by a ninja and lots of EXORCIST-like mayhem ensues.

Vote "Yes" if you think it belongs in the Scream family. "No" if you feel it stays in the Shout court.

I'm really, really happy about Ninja III. I wish Shout! had Enter the Ninja and Return of the Ninja to round out the (non-)trilogy, but I think those two might be with The Garr Group.

It has to be better than the German BD, which looks like it was sourced from a VHS tape.

Im loving that Howling art,one of their best yet.if they port over all the previous extras and do new stuff its gonna be one packed disc.
Dee wallace is doing a signing early july in London, hope this is relesed by then, would definately want her to sign it.same with Adrienne Barbeau, hope The Fog(doubt it) is released so she could sign.Meg Foster is there too so thats my They Live slip signed.

As for Ninja 3,never seen it.Lucinda Dickey Was cute in Cheerleader Camp.would love a blu of that.

I would have preferred the Howling cover without Dee Wallace (I think it looks better with just the various baddies), but still a nice job.

Cant wait for The Fog either Andrew.im thinking though because its more of a subdued film maybe the artwork should reflect this.say something simple like the Elizabeth Dane approaching Antonio bay with the lighthouse off to the side.i think a busy cover with alot of heads on it may be the wrong way to go.Absolutly love The Howling artwork though.
