Upgrading from DVD to Blu-ray. Is it worth it?

I'm slowly upgrading myself, but I try to aim for about $6 per upgrade. The price-point above that isn't very much worth it for me at this point. Good thing I bought most of my DVDs for very cheap as well... It's a bit tough to unload some of them.

I only tend to buy a couple of Blu Rays at a time since I like to watch everything I buy at least once. Upgrading my collection too suddenly would give me too many movies to watch.

So far, upgrading has been very much worth it! Plus, it saves space on my shelves for new releases.
