Got home from the grocery store after getting some stuff for my dad. And drinking something called Kick Start. It's from Mountain Dew, it's a Fruit Punch type of drink thing.

They don't have it overseas?

I'm deciding at the moment what I want to eat for dinner. Either some cereal, or spaghetto's. I know i live like a king. I like to treat myself with the kind that has the tiny meatballs in it.

I don't mean this in a bad way,but why do American's think that anything available in their country you can get everywhere else?

I seen Gatorade here once for a short time in one shop although I did come across the small bottles in Italy and Denmark.

II don't know, just thought it was a big enough thing to be sold globally. Sorta like how there is McDonalds everywhere around the world. or atleast most countries.

A lot of Americans don't have a passport and I think that is correct, you's really don't see past your own borders.

EDIT:not sure what I done to make the above post quote me instead of nefilm but I am too drunk to care.

We have World Market stores in the US that import foods and drinks from all over Europe and there's other similar novelty shops that do that as well. Take for example the lion bars by Nestle, we can only find them in novelty shops. Also, they stopped running full length santa/polar bear ads from Coca Cola over here but in the UK the santa truck toured the area.

That said, I'm surprised such a large brand over here isn't readily available since it is owned by Pepsi. What drinks are marketed for your sports teams? Just Lucozade?

When I was on holiday in California I went in to a sports shop to buy a Lakers top,as I was looking at them the assistant asked me did I want one with a certain name on the back.
When I replied to him I hadn't a clue who anyone was he was talking about he decided then to mock me a bit in the shop as if I was stupid for not knowing these 'stars'
He lost the sale and I told him where he could stick his lakers shirt.

Well then, have you ever tried a European soft drink (or any other non US drink)? No corn syrup, just pure, unadulterated sugar.

And I think I saw a Polar Bear ad this year, over here.

I have. I go to World Market all the time to buy English Teas, candy, home decor items, etc. I buy this one orange soda from there and it tastes 100x better than anything we have from in the states. I add that to my list of reasons to move...

Well maybe that is half the problem as you just don't see Pepsi here,it's all Coca-Cola who have Powerade which is very similar and I guess Gatorade here just couldn't compete.
