I don't know why though, seeing as the only Malick stuff that's released through Criterion is stuff that is recent (much like Wes Anderson's stuff). I kind of hope they go back and do some sort of Theatrical/Director's cut stuff with a 4K mastered transfer or something.

All I need now is Badlands so that I can see Malick's filmography in order in time for To the Wonder (and both The Untitled Terrence Malick Project, and Knight of Cups).
I watched my Blu-ray of The New World the other night. It's the weak link in the Malick canon, in my opinion, but it's still a masterful film and an A+ across the board. I always get pretty emotional at the end.

I used to own the Warner DVD of Badlands, and I just about wore out that DVD from watching it so often. The Blu-ray should be shipping soon.

I really cannot wait to read the reviews of Badlands from posters here who have never seen the movie before. I think that all of you are in for a real treat.
