What is the last Steelbook that you saw 40 or 50 of? The only one that I can think of is The Dark Knight Rises. I can still find MIB 3 but I think that's just because they didn't sell as well as some of the others. I don't think they ever had 40 or
50 MIB 3

That would be great to walk in and see the shelves stacked with ZD30 Steelbook goodness

Mediamarkt stores at home always have 100+ steelbooks in store

Even the smaller retailers have at least 10 steelbooks in store.

I think it depends on the store. My store does it with exclusives, just because I complained a couple times as one guy would come in and buy all of them on opening. So, thankfully, my store took action. Unfortunately, my store is probably in the very small minority when it comes to this.

Originally I didn't think I could make it to the store, Tuesday morning, but now I can so I'll be there to grab one, and probably just return my shipped SB. As I would be amazed if it showed up dent/scratch/knick free.

My local BB still has 6 copies of amazing Spider-Man 4-5 mib3 and close to 25-30 dark knight rises. I saw close to 50 copies of Spider-Man when it came out. I will let you know how many zdt I see, but I am guessing a good bit. Person I know there said he did not know for sure how many copies they got, but they should not be short on supply.

If so, do they hold a copy at the store?

Yeah, if it says "Coming Soon" for store pick up you'll be able to use it. Once you do store pickup, they're supposed to hold a copy for you but more often than not, it seems, the employees don't (they either forget or don't even check) and people leave angry and empty handed.

But it doesn't hurt to try.
