Have just watched the theatrical release of I am Legend (lucky it arrived on my day off) and have to say I thought the picture was excellent audio was very good not really demo material but thats more to do with the pace and layout of the film. There are allot of extras I'm not one to usually watch extras but I really want to see how they got the empty over grown New York shots!

Would add a review in the review section but the film is still locked as it not official out for a week or so although allot of people have it!!

Is this for the HDTV? I didn´t knowed it.
No. No issues there. When it comes to blu ray imports, the only thing you need concern yourself with is the region coding. At least, this is my understanding after doing TONS of research myself on these boards about importing.

Just ordered my first import this week, so I hope I got it all right. But I'm sure I do.

That other site I gave you is a good reference, as is this one:

Its the other studios you need to check up on.
All Fox releases in US are region coded, not all releases from Fox outside US are region locked.

It would be very interesting to Import these titles due to the low US Dollar.

Otherwise Enchanted will street on April 7 (UK) and Ice Age on April 25th.
So not a long wait at all and it seems as if at least Enchanted will have the same features.

Are music concerts, in general, region free? Should individual releases be checked for confirmation? I am particularly interested in Celine Dion concert BD.

Thanks. Good it is region free.

amazon.com says it is region 1. I can see this towards the bottom of the page of BD. Region 1 refers to DVD, I think, rather than blu-ray. So, it looks like something is wrong with that site/page.

Hey guys, sorry to bother. I have not yet pre-ordered any BDs from the UK, but "Shrooms" is one film I absolutely have to have on BD. can anyone offer any insight...Here's what Amazon.co.UK says in the pre-release placeholder:

Don't trust amazon for information like that -- if you're looking for region info., check out that site I linked you to.

In terms of a definite answer right now, probably not until it comes out and someone slaps it in a Reg. A player. BUT, most (I didn't check all, but all the ones I did were) of the Sony releases in the UK on BD have been region free, so there's a pretty good chance this will be too, unless something weird changes...

You can keep your peepers here http://www.blurayregioncodes.com/index.php?region=b when it comes out and find out for sure.
