There were no ZDT steels at the Otay Ranch BB this morning when I got there 20 minutes after it opened. Thank goodness for store pickup.

I checked 23rd and 6th. They are sold out despite it saying online that it is in stock. The employee told me that they receive only 8.

That was me and you are welcome.

I was up at phone orders a few minutes later and it looked like 5 or 6 copies were pulled for orders, so I'd say they received maybe 12 at most.

Unfortunately, we live in a very lazy society where people expect others to do thing for them instead of doing it themselves.

I am mostly a collector, but I have intentionally bought items to sell (not so much Blu-Ray Discs, not near enough profit), knowing they will go for a premium, and I do this for extra money, I admit it, but why is someone like me the problem when the market is deciding the value and an individual, using HIS OWN MONEY, values that item at a price, and pays me for it? These fools buying out Best Buy's are probably not gonna make much money (if any going by the eBay prices), so in the end, they are the ones that lose, and you'll be able to buy one from these clowns for face value when they take a bath on them.

Of course it's your money, though it's exceptionally rude and a bane to the collector market.

Good example right now is this: I'm a member on another collector's forum which is worldwide site much like this. A member bought two of an item that was over $100 MSRP. He is keeping one and secretly selling the second on ebay to "pay for the first one", asking $300. In that very thread another member is all but begging asking if someone who has an extra to let them know so he can buy or trade for it, unknowing that the first member is scalping one.

I spoke with the seller chastising him, asking how he is a member of a community collector site profiting off of others instead of helping them. His response was "oh well it sucks for him im sorry". THAT is what is wrong with the world today, everyone is in it for themselves with a 'f the world' attitude. It's sick.

1) He lists his location as Brooklyn, NY.

2) Even if he really is outside of the US, BestBuy.com allows you to search using a city name and not just ZIP codes.

Just got back from Best Buy. My store still had all 4 copies of the steelbook left. Didn't even look like people were buying the regular edition. I must say The Hobbit lenticular slipcover is really cool. It has a great transitional effect.

Not the most eye-popping steelbook design but it's my first steelbook with embossing on it. Really excited to see this movie for the first time.

Was planning on 25 shipped but since no one will buy here we go ebay

He has stated that he has never been to BB.com before. What is so hard to show someone a little compassion and help, instead of criticizing him or is that beneath you?

You're grossly exaggerating the issue, and my point. It is the purchasers money and the sellers money, and the purchasers, NOT the people asking exorbitant prices, that are driving the people to try to "scalp" as some called it. These people aren't taking a commodity like food or water and hoarding it, these are movies or games we're talking about, and as I said earlier, people don't have to buy from them. I certainly wouldn't pay $400 for a video game with a cheesy plastic bird and a book or two in the box, it isn't worth it, and it's not worth the retail price either, but to someone out there, maybe it is, and that drives the market price up, builds the hype, and of course, people will attempt to capitalize on it.

This has nothing to do with a "f the world" attitude, these are people that are trying to make some extra bucks and I don't begrudge them a bit for doing it. Calling it sick and comparing these sellers to people that are truly exploiting things is a bit over the top. I think a bit of perspective is in order here.

The point is that if he can sign up for a website, fill out his collection, then he is certainly capable of searching for a product at a simple to use site like BB.com. My 4-year old could search for something there.

Is that what I said? You're inferring that since we don't feel like doing something for him, that he is capable of doing himself, that we're the ones in the wrong here and are bad people because of that. Sorry, I help people for a living, and you don't know me, so it's a bit wrong of you to make that assumption about me.

It's wrong of you to make the assumption that he understands the states and BB.com website? He admitted that he never been there before.

Ok, well, in any event, thanks for completely missing my point. This is wasting far too much of my time now.
