Great. I appreciate the input! I think I'm going to pick up the veritas center in hopes of getting the matching towers at some point in the future.

yeah, if you can get the 6.2s or 6.3s eventually get the 5.2 now. i would say the cfs might be a little warmer, and the veritas more neutral. I heard the CF70s and CF50s and about 2 weeks later the 6.3s. i think you should be happy. then get the veritas towers... youll be very happy.

Any fellow Canuck here FS has a clearance sale on the RC-70, $798 for a pair is a 66.67% rebate over the original $2500 retail price.

Their five way binding post accepts both plugs & spades.

Standard-Fig2.jpg

Banana plugs, inserted into the open end of the binding post
Pin connectors, inserted into a hole drilled through the metal post and clamped by the screw-down portion of the binding post.
Straight wire inserted through the same hole and clamped, or
Looped wire wrapped around the metal post and clamped.
A lug terminal inserted around the metal post and clamped.

To all Fellow Canuck wanting to get some new Energy speakers, FS has the RC-70 for $800 a pair. This is an amzing deal considering the original retail price of $2500.

Keep going back and forth about Def Tech, B&W and Energy....

Is this a good set? It's just so expensive to get the pieces separately, but is that really the way to go?

And how do the speaker wires hook up...I have a Klipsch HDT 1000 now which is pretty good. I just have to make sure I get a receiver that fits with the speaker wire hookups for this second set.
