I can't seem to figure out how to watch things that require a flash player on my ps3. Youtube videos work, but I tried to play some videos on hulu.com and it says I have to download the flash player and they dont have one for the ps3. Can anyone help me out?

The next firmware update MAY (or may not) alleviate this situation.

yo, I am pretty new to ps3 as of last night. Had a hell of a time connecting to the network and getting name.
I can't watch youtube with a plug in and I need it everytime I load the page. Are there internet/browser settings? Also, the internet page is huge on my big screen. I see that there is a zoom feature, but is there a better way to minimize the screen o it fits? thanks |

As for the page size... have you tried pressing the L2/R2 Buttons? L2 zooms out, R2 zooms in. BTW, the PS3 does have Flash... version 4 (or was it 6?), which is why a lot of sites don't work. I've found you need version 7, and now 8 on a lot of sites. Sony does need to upgrade the Flash player. |

R3 (clicking the right stick) turns on zoom mode and the amount of zoom after you click depends what part of the page the pointer is hovering over. You can manually adjust zoom with the L2/R2 triggers.
▵ > Tools > Resolution Try adjusting this to +1 or +2 When in zoom mode (minimum amount) +2 appears to give the closest to a 1:1 pixel ratio for webpages but +1 keeps small fonts clear in a non zoomed browser state. ▵ > Tools > Display Area Give Full Pixel a go. Adjusting this helps with overscan. Standard Size works best for me but if your display has very little or no overscan like a Dell monitor with HDMI in, Full Pixel should make the most of it. |
