Just curious - would you say there's a noticable difference between the DVD and Blu Ray versions of Clerks? I've always thought that was one title I'd never feel the need to upgrade since it's so low budget, but at the same time I like upgrading all the movies that are really close to my heart if the BD is noticably better. And man, do I love me some Clerks.

Do it. Even though the film itself isn't a good looking flick, you won't be stretching the image to 4x it's size by upconverting. The Bluray will look at least as good as the DVD but the DVD will look much worse.

Of course everyone's eyes are different, so it might not be a big deal to you.

It's been a long, long time since I posted a picture of my collection. It's not as HUGE as some in here, but it's not THAT small either...

Got the new rack last night.

Blu's just quickly stuffed on. But you get the idea.

This is stage one of the plan.

Stage two: sell off old racks and make a big wide version of the new one for the right hand side.

Stage three. Make rack to hold projector and get rid of mount. So whole back wall is wood.

Photo of new and old racks together.

I will post new photo's of my whole collection once I get everything organized.

Anyone else notice when ordering blu-rays online from Best Buy or Future Shop they arrive to you without slipcovers when they should definitely have them? (this has happened to me on multiple occasions now)

Can't help but think someone working at the warehouses takes them off before shipping them (just because they can) then sells them on eBay later on.

Cabin In The Woods... and that sexy lenticular slipcover it comes with, nah, not for me.

Honestly, the last time I ever buy a blu-ray online when I know it has or had a slipcover at some point.

It was my own design and I got a local guy to make it from local wood (Rimu).

If you don't mind me asking, how did you decide which movies to face out? Is it random? Also do you organize A-Z?

Usually slip covers of movies I like. First Foreign A-Z. Then English A-Z.
