Default Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut: Newly Remastered and Unrated?

I went to best buy today, talked to my source there about this movie and he said he has it stocked in the back, and he went there to get it. he said the remastered was supposed to release sometime soon.

I brought it home. I stopped FYE on the way and the package there were different.

I looked up on this site, the thread was only "to find" the original?

I have not opened the seal and will watch it tonight..

Possibly one of the worst movies ever made, imo. Aside from the gratuitous nudity, nothing good for me.

Is there any difference from the old Blu-ray or is this just a re-release?

I was just reading a review I can probably find the link later if someone wants it, but anyway the reviewer had stated that the copy he had eroniosly listed itself as being either rated r or having both the rated and unrated movie on it. He saidin fact that only the unrated version was ont he disc. Maybe the extra labeling is on your disc in order to notify the consumer that the movie is not in fact rated R. Because besides the extra sticker stating it is unrated it looks like the same case to me.

As in remastered from the previous DVD releases or the previous Blu-ray release?

Has anyone compared them?

This is the same release.... they've just added new stickers. "Newly Remastered" means remastered since the last DVD release. The day the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions came out, a new DVD release came out as well that also boasted the "newly remastered" print.

I believe it is the same blu-ray disc from the previous release except that it now has the sticker warning people that it only includes the unrated copy.

So the review I read was right. These discs were labeled as being rated R but are in fact the unrated versions
