Question "The Karate Kid" movies on Blu-ray, anyone?

I hope Sony plans to release the first two "Karate Kid" movies on Blu-ray sometime in the near future. I can do without the third and fourth movies though. The third was okay, and the fourth one (with Hilary Swank) just didn't feel the same without Ralph Macchio. What do you think?

Got a feeling that they're going to release a box set first than the singles 6 months later. They did that the original DVDs

I'll pass them up all together. Watched it all the time when I was a kid but seriously people, come on. Give me some Lawrence of Arabia or something worth while.

I still love watching them... I only have the first 3 on DVD, i cant remember the 4th. I would buy the box set on Blu Ray. The third is hard to watch because Daniel Laruso is always whining about everything... it maybe true to his character, but I think he went a little overboard in the third movie and you get a little tired of listening to him.

After viewing some of the movies you own, I guess we all have opinions on what is "worthwhile".

My God, I hope not. Will Smith needs to just leave "The Karate Kid" alone, because I highly doubt he'll be able to find a better Mr. Miyagi than the late, great Pat Morita!

Karate Kid is a classic for you 80's babies. Just too bad when most of the these youngsters who were born in the early 90's have no clue how great the 80's were.............Eddie Murphy was once funny.
