Because, IMO, that was the best sitcom ever.
If something was shot on PAL videotape, you should consider PAL DVDs if you can play them (NTSC DVDs would be a downrez in vertical resolution, adding on top of that the interlaced 50Hz to interlaced 60Hz motion conversion).

BDs made from PAL tapes would upscale the 576i to 1080i, so they might also look a little better than the NTSC DVDs. There could be better color resolution 480-540 vs 240-288 if the tape master has it.
