In response to a couple of questions I asked:

For THE KINDRED, we have to wait on the producer. When he’s ready, we’ll be ready. For STRANGE BEHAVIOR, no, we don’t have any plans for an upgraded release. Sadly, it did not sell well enough for us.

This was already posted in the Street Trash thread but thought I would post it here as well. Street Trash is being delayed but for good reason.

This is the reason Don May Jr. and Synapse rock! I wish more companies showed the pride and dedication with their products like Don does.

I got the Arrow DVD eons ago. Good movie but not good enough for an upgrade to Blu IMO.

That's a good reason for the delay. Nice work by Synapse.

The latest Horror Hound has an ad for Demons, Demons 2, Phenomena, and Tenebrae (with tentative cover art), but no release dates.

Man I wish there was a release date announced for Demons and Demons 2 already!
I wonder how the AV quality will compare to Arrows release?

I'm very much excited to see the Argento flicks coming from Synapse. Day 1 for me.

The new issue of Rue Morgue Magazine (British horror cover!) also has an ad for these.

No mention of what the special features are, which is what I need to know before I get rid of my existing DVDs.

Hopefully more news will surface soon!

Nice, I actually just started up a subscription for Rue Morgue the other day. Hopefully it'll start with the new issue. I used to enjoy reading it when I was bored at the register at Tower Records a century ago, but haven't checked them out since.

Looking forward to these Soavi classics on Blu-ray! If they sell well, I'm really hoping "The Church" and "Cemetary Man" follow.

I'm not expecting any of the new Argento/Demons Blu-rays from Synapse anytime soon. What is the latest HorrorHound dated? As I understand it, by the time a magazine goes come out, the information in it is already 2-3 months old so if it's a May/June issue, they're printing info from late Jan/early Feb., which is about when Synapse first announced these. So if there's another ad for these in the next issue, there will probably be a street date revealed and a final "push" for the releases on their Sept/Oct publication. I'm guessing these will be out in November.

Unless I misread the post above, there are pics of the cover art in HorrorHound, which puts them ahead of online (where I haven't seen anything yet).

The ad I mentioned in the recent issue of Rue Morgue also shows the cover art for all four titles.

How does it look? Original poster art?

I'm almost certain those ads feature placeholder art. That artwork hasn't surfaced anywhere else. If it was the real thing it would've been all over the net by now.

BTW, HorrorHound is known for getting stuff wrong. I'd take what they print with a grain of salt. Rue Morgue may be a little more reliable but, like I said earlier, the information in print media is always months behind.

This is a photo of the ad, my scanner isn't connected right now:

At the bottom it says 'cover art not finalized and may be different on final product' (emphasis mine)
