Attached is a picture showing a small part of the same frame from Click on DVD and Bu-ray, taken by pointing a camera at the TV. The Blu-ray has noticeably more detail. The DVD is a bit darker, which I could have addressed by adjusting the TV to more closely match the Blu-ray, but it doesn't really matter, just ignore that aspect and focus on the difference in detail.
If you're saying that the same movie looks better on DVD than Blu-ray, then there must be some setting somewhere that is wrong. Are they both connected via HDMI, if not could it be a difference in how your TV is handling the inputs? |
