I just cast mine....for digibook. Steelbooks are okay, but I prefer the digibook format by far.

As I look at my Blu-ray collection, I see that SteelBook wins 98 - 4.

I really like both but slight edge to the steels. You can't look through the digibook as much as you might like because the spine will begin to crease.

What do you do store them in an oven/fridge?

Don't you know? The more they pop, the cooler you are

I generally prefer DBs but they're still so niche in UK.

...impossible.
unless you're some kind of extreme reader, I can see it now...someone sat reading; wearing a gum shield, wrist guards, and a sweat band.

My main difference is I will only buy the steelbook if I REALLY like the artwork or it's a Superhero or Disney Steelbook.

If a U.S. digibook is available and I want the movie I will ALWAYS buy the digibook.

I prefer digibooks over steelbooks/metalpaks. With the recent releases of Walmart steelbooks/metalpaks, my collection is currently at 80-80. If both options are available, I'll buy them both.

In terms of what I would get without regards to price/limitations:
Steelbook > Digibook > Slipcover

What actually happens:
Slipcover > Steelbook > Digibook
Because slips are the cheapest and most common of the collectible flavors, and not every movie I like has the other two.

I prefer Steelbook but have a soft spot for Digibooks if they are thick and sturdy.

If both movies come with Steelbook and digibook then I pick which one is available here in the US. If both are available here, like ET then I buy both especially if its a favorite of mine. Generally, I like digibooks better than steelbooks due to the extra content it offers.

Unless you store your steelbooks in your garage then it will be a problem...lol

Despite actual steelbooks, probably, outnumbering digibooks 3-to-1, and this poll being held in the steelbook thread....Digibook dominates.

Well done digibook, a victory for the ages.

Digibook - so good, there's no need for a silly lawsuit.
