Actually I like RPGs, just not first person RPGs. Of course you can change to third person mode in Oblivion, but still. I prefer my RPGs storyline to be linear, like Final Fantasy for example. Don't get me wrong, I own Oblivion on PS3, I don't hate it either, it's just that I can't seem to get into it. I guess it's probably cause I keep getting lost most of the time. That, and the non-linear story confuses me at certain point.

Again, by all mean I don't hate Oblivion.

It's cool that you can create your own character, pick your own story path, etc, it's pretty neat.

Copywriter,

When you got back into Oblivion did you start over or pick up where you left off. I considered getting back into it but the thought of starting over just turns me against it. If I could remember all the plots that were going on I would pick up where I left off. When I have time to sit down in front of the PS3 it's much easier to just step into Warhawk. Though, I might have to warm up my driving skills once Gran Turismo hits.

What ive noticed is something else...

If your driving a jeep and you see a guy with mines in his hand, do not
try to run him over...

A smart driver turns around and reconsiders his options.

Its funny to throw a mine on a passing jeep as you jump out of the way...

Oh and I know you warhawk pilots who do bombing runs on front bridge mines.. do you notice your allies still dieing to mines..

See some miners actually lay them across the entire bridge.. 4 mines played across the entire bridge, say slice the bridge up in 4 quarters and place a mine in each quarter alternating between left and right.

That messes jeeps up, because they will miss one by turning hard only to hit the next one...

Tanks get annoyed and actually sit on the bridge trying to hit each mine as they are rocketed and turned into small metal parts.

While a secondary miner places another set of mines.. prayers for good respawn time on mines.

Oh and to those who call themselves miners.. remember on some stages its best to place mines in places the enemy cannot easily see or grenade, such as behind crates, walls in which the enemy cannot see on there walk to the flag but are still lethal should someone walk to the flag.

I did both. First, I created a new character and played for a bit. Then, I got back on my mage.

The only reason I left the first character is I like playing as a mage. The new guy was a warrior and he bored me to tears.

Yep. I do the alternating pattern thing. Gets them every time. And if one of the mines gets hit (death), the other 3 are still up to win.

As a pilot, I launch electro fun across the bridge and bomb further in the sweep most of it off. And then I grab another electro and do it in another area. Unfortunately, not too many pilots understand the concept of helping out the ground advancers. And most evidently aren't good miners.

Think I'm getting better in a Warhawk. Last night I had a 4 on 4 game where I had 43 kills and 3 deaths flying and only 4-5 were from TOWs.

Of course as soon as it's 3 on 1, I run into trouble. Sometimes I win, many times I have to flee or die.

It was.

The update tomorrow isn't a the major event this month IMHO. We get two new items. It should be interesting.

I'll log on to try them. The wrench should come in handy a little bit. The bio field (or whatever) is more useful. I'm guessing you'll want to throw one of those down when you're in an enemy base trying to save your flag.

The APC and new map is on the 17th. And that's what I'm waiting to see. I hope it's not another OD flop.

I'm in for a little while. I just got done moving the majority of my stuff from my old apt. to my new one. I hate when i dont get some good Warhawk killin in daily... I may have to defect to a ranked server after a few games. Still need to catch up to Copy who loggs 5+ hrs on Warhawk an evening... DAMN YOU COPY! Ah well... Least he is on our team an not there's eh?

The Wrench... Hands down the best idea and item i have seen in awhile...

Now when you are playing CTF you wont have to look like a nub just running around in front of the tank that is in your base when you run out of rockets/flame thrower/mines (dep. on board).

Fear the running man clinging to your tank!

No. The guy who hosted the game is someone I've played with a lot.

As soon as you logged on, he told me someone from your clan is playing now. Unfortunately, you didn't switch teams, so you had to be killed.

Actually, when it's pre-game, I don't play hard at all. I try stupid things, roam around in jeeps waiting to die, etc.

It will be nice to have. I'm getting sick to my stomach of almost taking out a tank when on foot, but being 1 grenade short. If I've got the wrench, I can take him out.

I'm just glad the wrench and the bio-field thing is FREE. Not that I mind paying if it's only a few bucks.
But since it's FREE, I'm happy to take it.
