What happened to Brynden Tully???

He said he was going for a leak before the bedding ceremony & slaughter, but we never see what happens to him. In the books he remained at Riverrun while Robb went to the Twins. Maybe I'm mistaken.
most likely....he saw what happened while outside and retreated to riverrun....only thing i can think of that would work for the show.

This is ASOIAF, nobody is safe.
this event most likely will kick off next season or be episode 2-3. with the other events taking up 8-10 to lead into aFfC and DwD.

you seem to forget that dany taking the cities happens prior to the red wedding and thus must not follow the order of events. this makes it clear that it can only happen this way as showing her live so soon would ruin the impact of her just dying....
i don't think it would run anything people is hungering for revenge now. Have you checked twitter people are already expecting her if you type in lady stoneheart in the seach area

Now it's clear that the ninth eppy of each season will be a Game Changer.

With that said, my guess for S4 E9 from what I've read/heard about from friends about the books.

Tyrion will kill Tywin and Shae.

Yep that's what I anticipate happening in that episode next season.

I know we haven't even had this season's finale yet, but I'm already chomping at the bit to get to next season. Just knowing we're going to get the battle at the Wall, Joffrey's wedding, Tyrion's imprisonment, the Red Viper, etc. has me insanely giddy.

I just wish we had a book between this year and next to keep us occupied. But I guess we're, what, another 2-3 years away from that? I hate that George takes so long to write.

Well, it took him 5 years for A Feast For Crows and 6 years for A Dance With Dragons, so who knows?

At the very least I hope the sixth book comes out at the end of 2014. That gives him a year and a half. Come on George start writing!!!

Last I heard in Oct of last year he had about 400 pages finished. Not sure how far along he is now or how long the book will actually be.

Eh, I think with the series slooowly catching up, he will hurry up a bit. While they could continue the series anyway, releasing the books first would be way better for his story, so I'm sure he has more pressure now to get it done.

I kind of feel that way too. To me seeing the show finish before the books would in a way ruin the books for me. While the books would be better and much more detailed, the general plot and story would already be known.

i don't see that happening remember he is also a producer on the show and even writes episodes on it. He is very much involved with the tv show just as much hhe is with his books.

New interview with Michelle Fairley asking about Lady Stoneheart

People who've read the books tell me there's a chance you could reprise your role at some point in the future. Any truth to that?
I think you’re just going to have to keep watching and find out.
incredibly vague but i guess its something and i hope next week people will not speculate on it anymore
