I tend to think its un reasonable to compare a remaster of a blu ray to what you get from HDX.

Something tells me if you download the HDX you get a 2GB file which is half the capacity of a (single layer) DVD. Meanwhile the Blu Ray encode tends to weigh in at over 30GB.

If ever there was apples and oranges. HDX is not Blu Ray quality and you can't figure your getting something equivalent in any respect.

I almost forgot that myself when I considered getting started with this Disc to Digital stuff.... I kind of like Vudu now but I think I'll stick with the free copies I get from my Blus.

HDX isn't similar to Blu Ray quality. It's "HD" perhaps in some regard but highly compressed to the max.
