All of these great movies are unreleased and you know why? Because the studios don't know that there's a demand for them. No one requests them. No one writes to the studios anymore. Nothing.

And then you guys have the nerve to cry about not having more catalog titles.

Well make your lists! Keep on repeating your favorite unreleased movies. The more you do so, the more likely that these movies will get released.

Common sense.
As if I needed an excuse to post my (newly revised) wishlist

1) Leviathan
2) Dolls
3) In The Mouth of Madness
4) Don't Look Now
5) The Brood
6) The Hidden
7) Opera
8) The Wicker Man
9) Alice Sweet Alice
10) Waxwork
11) Scarecrows
12) Phantasm

Not that I ever expect most (or any) of those from Scream.

Waxwork in particular never seems to be requested. I highly enjoy it

Also, Best Buy has The Vampire Lovers for $14.99 with Free Shipping.

So, as many did not pick this one up, you might want to.
Their free shipping certainly makes this the cheapest offer right now.

2) MGM, maybe in the next deal.
3) Warner, so no,
4) Warner via Paramount, so no.
5) Criterion has soft announced it, probably for October.
6) Warner, so no.
7) Blue Underground, presumably no.
8) Studio Canal / Lionsgate, so no.
9) Warner, so no.
10) Lionsgate, so no.
11) MGM, so maybe in the next deal.

I bolded the potential Yes films.

Nearly all are referenced either by company or directly in the O.P.
Please check there next time.

I'd say 90% of the requests are titles we've already looked at and some of the time, we already have the movie, but we haven't announced it.

But there is no use requesting anything Lionsgate or Warner has because it's not going to happen.

i really come here to chat with the fans and answer the questions i can.

Now that could change at any time. But Warner Bros. is notorious for not licensing titles out, so making a list is not going to change that, unfortunately. Warner knows there is a demand for them, they just don't see things the same way as cult fans do.

Cliff, all thes titles that you would do but they won't license like say,
Fright night 2,
In the Mouth of Madness.
Waxwork.
Do you think they will do anything with them Blu-ray wise,or do you think we'll still be waiting in 2 years time.
Also,do you think any of these studios have notice what Scream is doing and may do something similar.

Exactly. Since the debut of DVD over 15 years ago Warner has licensed exactly ONE title - Badlands. That's it. Maybe they licensed a few more to Criterion, but there is very little out there to support it, and the likelihood of Warner licensing more is minimal at best, and most likely a pipe dream.

I'm kind of curious about this myself. Having watched Bates Motel on TV has really fueled the "Norman Bates" fire in me...wait a second, not sure if that's a good thing!
