No love for Seed of Chucky I see. I thought it was funny as hell. Very goofy flick.

The new flick sounds like it will be fun.

I have an appreciation for it since it was the directorial debut of creator Don Mancini.

The last two films didn't do well in theatres so I can understand why this is going straight to video.

Mainly because of Tilly's titties.

The second* and it had a $25M budget so it probably barely made its money back.

Those are domestic numbers. Both Bride and Seed doubled there initial take when foreign was factored in. Also Bride was on the best sellers list for home video for well over a year.

Though I must say at 96 minutes I feel that the movie was a bit too long.

[Show spoiler]Chucky doesn't speak in his real voice until 45 minutes into it. But he didn't do that either until the end like in the original.

But once that start part kicks in it it gets a bit better.

[Show spoiler]Those are some dumb judges thinking a person in a wheel chair can go around killing people like that.

I liked the Andy cameo though. Even if the Jennifer Tilly thing made no sense.

Not true. They're regular people just like you and I. Equal opportunity murder.

HA HA.
[Show spoiler]There's a little thing called finger prints. But I guess the only one they could maybe possible pin on her was her sister. The Dad and the nanny chick where killed other ways.

Or couldn't Nicca show the video that Chucky had on him that the dad put in there?

Yes, that is odd. Most people feel Seed is easily the worst of the series.

I personally don't understand the hate for Seed, I enjoyed it, and think it's just a little below Bride, which I love.

Aren't they co-currently also working on a theatrical reboot of Child's Play?

[QUOTE=Miami;7778897]

This is the first time I've ever heard someone say they actually liked Seed of Chucky [/QUOT

honestly not trolling. I even have it on blu. maybe its just cuz Waters is in it. Or it could be i just find the entire chucky concept stupid. not to knock anyone for liking it. But the more serious takes like 1 and 2 just seemed goofy to me. Whereas Seed was so over the top silly it worked (i do think of it as a comedy though)

Oddly i love Killer dolls.. like pupper master, Dolls etc.. so not sure why i always thought chucky was silly.

I liked the whole series including Seed, I can see why not everyone else gets it, but to me its a fun comedic horror film.

Default Finally

I knew that after Seed of Chucky there had to be at least one more film but it seemed like it would be forgotten after so many years passed. I'm actually very excited to see a DTV bluray release for this finally. Brings back some interesting memories.
